Fall! Oh boy, isn’t it beautiful? We get the most gorgeous falls up here in the Northwest. If you don’t mind the cold (ahem, well…..), then you’ll love it up here.
This week I’m trying to stay warm, and found some adorable things in the process. Oooh, the colors of fall!
Right off there’s a precious little watercolor that I think is adorable! Oh, what a cute little fox, no?
Painted by the very talented Amber Alexander:
OOooh, and take a lookee here! I don’t know you, but I love handmade soap. It’s so sweet to pick up a nice, smooth bar of soap, scrub your hands with a sweetly scented foam, and then have soft, clean fingers. To boot, you know that there aren’t any of those harmful chemicals that lurk in commercial cleansers!
These darling soaps are made by an equally darling young woman. She’s the sweetest thing, and she has some of the most lovely works of art in her shop: Enter Graceful Design Cards!
I think these linen bread bags are so cute! I just love linen! From Linen Gifts:
These booties were made by a lady who’s local to me (‘local’ around here means ‘same state’); she was at a ladies’ tea we attended Saturday, and I picked up her business card, Happy In Dole Valley. Aren’t these adorable? They look like little…well, I don’t know, Irish green pea pods or something.

This adorable necklace from Steam Trunk Studio has been catching my eye for some time now. Isn’t it lovely?
The Shop of the Week is Nesting Pretty, which is just that. Such adorable little whimsies!
And it just so happens that Nesting Pretty is giving away a shop credit of $25.00 on the Blog of the Week Giveaways of Blessing!
That’s all for now, folks!
The Handmade Roundup is a weekly post featuring the handiwork and vintage items of Etsy shop owners. Leave a comment with your shop or blog link to be considered for a future feature!

You find the dearest things on Etsy! There are some lovely works of art out there! First, I love the fox. That watercolor painting could go very well in any room in a home. I think a childs room because it reminded me of a book I love about a Chipmunk mailman- but I do not think I could ever outgrow foxes picking apples!!! And the acorn necklace because I love acorns. The booties are a lovely green too, and would be perfect for little feet on a cold autumn morning. Also they look like they are knitted with a fancy pattern which makes them even prettier. Has it been very cold out in Washington? The weather has been good here, a bit cold but the leaves are nice and warm looking. We have our woodstove going! We had a tree in the backyard that looked like it was on fire it was so red and orange this week. We took a video of the Fall trees yesterday and I will be uploading it to my blog tonight. The bread bags look beautiful- I could imagine giving the bread and the bag to a family member at Christmas. The only bread I am good at is banana bread. The pumpkin soap looks wonderful, And the cards from Graceful Design Cards are beautiful a card like that would brighten a day for sure!!!
Blessings to you, Faith.
I find the cutest things, I know—but it’s easy(ish) when there are so many talented ladies out there!
Hee hee!
The weather has been exceptionally warm this fall so far. We had a couple really cold days, and usually we have the stove going in the morning, but it warms up nicely in the afternoon. It’s wonderful–usually by now it’s cold and rainy! I can use all the sunshine I can get!
Bread can be tricky. We were huge bread makers when we ate gluten years ago, but since going gluten free (and learning about how horrible grains are for you), we don’t make bread hardly ever, except corn bread once in a while, and pancakes. I’d like to get our family grain free sometime sooner, but that’s just not feasible right now. We eat tons of rice, which I feel bad about. And potatoes. We try to keep our potato intake down, but sometimes that doesn’t work either! Oy vey.
And yes! Graceful Design Cards is a lovely shop, and all of her items are darling! She’s a sweetheart, is Hannah.
I haven’t dropped by in awhile, but I just wanted to say: your blog is lookin’ awesome.
Just ‘awesome’, huh? Not ‘swell’?
(Thanks, Corey!)
How about awesomely swell?
Thanks so much for featuring my booties! The tea was really wonderful, no? So many lovely items in the homemakers’ gallery to be sure including your adorable buttons!
Blessings,
Lisa Seifert

You’re very welcome! Your lovely shop surely deserves a blog mention or two. Simply adorable.
Oh My!!! I just stumbled upon being featured here as shop of the week. What a lovely blog you have and such pretty items to look at. I am so in love with that flower pitcher that I am going to have to pop over to the shop and see if it is still available for purchase.
Thank you loads and much love to you.
